Mike Gordon

Biography

Mike Gordon is a mechanical and nuclear engineer who transitioned into life sciences in 2013. He spent six years working hands-on in a BSL-2 lab, automating CAR-T cell manufacturing, and has since led the development of multiple technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including the XenonTM gene editing platform and the DynaCellectTM cell isolation system.

With more than ten patents in the automation of cell therapy manufacturing, Mike has also contributed to numerous diagnostic instrument and medical device projects. He founded ReelReactor after identifying a critical technological gap in biomanufacturing — the need for a reactor that could handle sensitive, time-dependent processes with both consistency and scalability.
